How it works: Organizations will host a D2L Dance Party for their employees, students or associates. Two dancers from each D2L Dance Party will be crowned winners by their organization and will compete in the D2L final event hosted by The Cancer Support Community - Florida Suncoast. At the D2L final event, the top 2 dancers from each organization will win both prizes and bragging rights! Organization Dance Parties can be held anywhere. You know your team, so pick a venue where the entire group can enjoy themselves and that is easily accessible to all team members. Have a Dance-a-thon, holiday dance, Dancin' to the Oldies, Valentine's themed dance…you choose! The rules are simple: have fun and dance, dance, dance. 
2011-2012 D2L Honorary Chair ABC 7 Anchor Lauren Dorsett Dance Parties can be held anytime from September 1, 2011 - February, 2012. The D2L dance party event will take place in February where ABC/WWSB Anchor Lauren Dorsett will be the D2L Honorary Chair and Emcee. Individual dancers & dance teams can register online starting in July 2011. The Cancer Support Community - Florida Suncoast, will collect a $25 non-refundable registration fee and dancers will receive a D2L tee shirt in their registration packet. Each dancer will be required to raise a minimum of $100 to dance (or $75 over registration fee).
